Question Gran Turismo 4 top speed

    Okay, it goes like this...
I have an audi R8 race car, i`ve tuned it to the max (only a turbo, n2o and tyres) and with some fine tuning the aerodynamix and suspension, on the test course it reached a little bit over 500 kph. Can Somebody please tell me is that possible, or is my game crazy? I reached a top speed of 511 kph.
But the Audi r8 is the third car by hp in my garage, after the Minolta and the Pescorollo. The minolta`s top speed with all that tuning is somewhere around 480 kph. It has 1100 hp and the audi has 1024 hp.

    What is your top speed?

It was possible to get the Escudo Pikes Peak Version car up to ridiculous speeds by pulling a wheelie in GT3 but I have never seen someone do it in GT4.

Tune the gearbox for more top speed. Downforce as low as possible. Suspention as low as possible, and hard. Super soft Tyres. When you start at the start line dont emediatly lunch the nitrous. After the first corner you lunch NOS, and by the end of the str8 you`ll be 500+. Get it?

Just my opinion, but I don't like going for top speeds. I find it too long and tedious. I'll probably do it if I'm bored, but I get bored way too easily if I sit and watch the screen and the car go straight.

I would like to do a wheelie though. Is there a way to do that in GT4?
