There will always be a market for front engine Ferraris

Even if they don't handle as well as mid engine ones, people buy front engine Ferrari cars because of the way they look.
Strangely enough it has been easier to get more raw power and even top speeds out of front engine Ferraris.

Lamborghini, Pagani, Koenigsegg should get back to how mid-engine began Transverse mid engines like in the Lamborghini Miura
It allows a longer nose, and longer noses sell big. Maybe because it clearly depicts a man intention with women?

    Miura long nose

Mercedes SLR McLaren and Lexus LFA look so good because they have long noses.

They can even use twin transverse engines ala Cizetta V16 to move engine backwards even between the rear wheels while allowing for an actually longer gearbox.
Thus avoiding V12+ developing costs by just taking to V6 or even small V8s from lesser cars and just tuning them.

Yes, I think the LaFerrari is far too slow.

    All hail to the California!

GT40 and Miura have aged quite nicely too....

    Hey guys, what's up?
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

    Alfa 33 Stradale.jpg.

The success of FR Ferraris throughout the ages has less to do with the length of its.. nose.. and more to do with overall styling and engineering wonderfulness. Personally I felt the the 550 and 575 were a step back both in terms of style and desireability from the superlative 512TR. In fact, given the keys, I'd have a 512TR over a 599. The F12 would give me pause though, for sure.

Too much Don Johnson, I think.

I'll go with a lightly modified Corvette. Long nose and all.

    Not the California
    The F12

BTW the F12 gas engine has almost the power of the LaFerrari at a fraction of the price.

This one didn't age well at all.
    Not even among racecars.
