Just came across this... MrMopar, are you posting information here to be retrieved elsewhere where a strict filter will allow this website, but not others and the only way to retrive the information is to post it on UCP?

I am sure Matra would leave this alone if you answer these two simple questions.

    1. How do you decide which races to post?

    2. Why do you need it posted on UCP when it can easily be found elsewhere in a MUCH more chronological manner?

In addition, won't it be more useful and less perplexing to us, at least, if you would just make one huge Google doc? That way you can easily edit it as you go.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

From now on? You haven't answered any questions yet, but have displayed an excruciating vacuity.

That is interesting. I was not aware that Mr. Jackson earned $130 for his finish of 35th place.

(All information below provided by the logical source, well organized and searchable... and not a random stat or dimbulb gatekeeper in the place):

Racing-Reference.info - Race Results and Driver Statistics for NASCAR and more!

One-hunnert-thirty dollar weren't so bad. But it musta skeered him sumpin' awful, he never did race agin.

Lacy only raced the one time, in 1953 at Darlington. Starting 37th in the fifty-nine car field, Jackson completed 288 of the laps before getting caught up in a late crash. He still finished a respectable 25th. Not so bad... Junior Johnson finished his day with this:

ONE race and "averages" are listed !
These have to be getting pulled from somewhere !
In that case PLEASE cite the source as it is possibly copyright

If he's posting results for drivers who haven't even STARTED a race, just think - someday he could be posting YOUR race results.

    nice idea csl

Really should do the whole 38 years competition summary tho' !!!

    Peter Locke
    Born in Airdrie, Scotland
Too many rallies and races ran and too old to remember them all
First rally: GUMC Road Rally 1973
Finished First in class in Mini 1275
No cash prize and award had to be hidden as had forged parental signature as below legal age to compete !!

Latest race: Rounds N1 and N2 of Scottish Sprint Championship and Highland Speed Championship
CLass A2, Standard production car in standard Mazda RX-8 PZ.
    16 laps completed
    N1: 2nd. FTD 114.92s (Littleferry circuit)
    N2: 2nd. FTD 80.52s (Kylestrome circuit)
No cash prize ( again - it IS Scotland you know )

Both events #1 positions by Sandy Coghill, Rover 200 powered by JUDD ex-btcc engine.

EDIT: csl, fyi I was 4s slower than Sandy About the norm. When Sandy competes we all then fight for second place
