Personally I don't th8ink there is completely a predilection to pre-war cars anyway although in my opinion they were more beautiful before wind tunnels were invented and function overrode form. If you look at the latest Morgans then design is coming back into play. The aeromax for example; a beautiful car and now they are reproducing the three wheeler in pedal car form. Go for it Morgan!
The Aeromax looks good because it looks a bit like one of those 30's Coupes. The problem with modern cars, as you say, is that what everyone want now is efficiency and aerodynamics and space.
What I want is elegance, style and charisma. And to hell with efficiency. and that's why the Mercedes-Benz CLS looks so much better than the E-Class despite being the same car.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
look mate the sexyest ever car is a 2003 BMW M3 coupe the are sexy as
Should consider the original SLR and the BMW 507

If I was to pick my own personal favorite, I'd have to say 1970's E-body Plymouth Barracuda.
This is hard - it's a bit like asking who is the most beautiful woman, Cameron Diaz, Angelina, Liz Hurley, Linda evangelista, Megan Fox, the list goes on & on and somebody will always say "my wife". Truth be told most of us here can only dream of owning any one so they are all winners
for me its the muira and the gt40, but theres no gt40 in the poll, ah well.
I don't think its possible for there to be a best looking car ever made. Its a matter of opinion of course, but its too big a title for any one car to have hanging over its name. There are many cars that I would say come close, but nothing is 100% perfect in that regard. I like many old Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche, but I could never narrow it down to just one car.
Dodge Nitro ,BMW’s new Z4, Jaguar XJ, Alfa Romeo 8C are some of my favorites cars. Theirs looks are amazing
The 904 GTS is a strong contender, but I can't really figure out which car I like most. If there was only one sort of car styling, I would be able to call my personal winner, but we all know that this isn't the fact.
FIXIE EVOLVED INTO SMALL MOTORBIKE! Now driving a Simson KR51 <3
Dream ride: red 1971 Opel Commodore GS/E
Pagani Zonda F roadster 7.3 in orange/carbon two tone.
And by the way (i'm sure that this will be fired strait back at me but who cares), that Holden looks like a Vauxhall Carlton that had the front end of an Integra DC2 stuck on it, and then ram raided Halfords. Muscular? Ya. Beautiful? Nein.
But seriously, I reckon there are way too many good looking cars for most people to make a decision, e.g.:
Aston Martin One-77
Pagani Zonda F
Dauer 962 LM road car
Mclaren F1
Toyota GT-One TSO20 road car
Porsche 917K in Gulf livery
Peugeot 908 HDi FAP concept (the white and red one)
Aston Martin DBS
Ferrari 288 GTO
Ferrari FXX
Maserati Birdcage 75th Anniversary
Cadillac Cien
Peugeot 907 coupe
GT by Citroen
the list goes on...
